Meet Attorney Ashley.

Advocate for Justice & Equality

Attorney Ashley was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After pursuing her undergraduate degrees in communications and organizational psychology from Howard University and Penn State University, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia for law school. While at Atlanta’s John Marshall, Attorney Ashley interned at various renown civil rights and criminal defense firms, further developing her interest in public service and community service. She is now a licensed attorney in both Georgia and Louisiana and has continued to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

Attorney Ashley is a passionate attorney with a deep dedication to being a voice for the voiceless. She began her legal career focusing on the incarcerated prison population in Louisiana. She continues to leverage her extensive legal expertise to empower individuals and communities, particularly those who have historically been marginalized or underrepresented in the legal system. She has quickly gained a reputation for her tenacity, integrity, and sharp legal acumen, representing clients in multiple states and high-profile matters that have shaped policy and societal norms.

She is the Founding Attorney at the Law Offices of A.B. Johnson-Alford, working endlessly to pursue justice for those who have been injured or accused. In addition to her legal practice, she is very active in her community, working to improve access to legal resources, promoting diversity in the legal field, and supporting the advancement of Black women in law and leadership roles.

Outside of the courtroom, Attorney Ashley enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her three children. She is a mentor to young aspiring attorneys, particularly those from underrepresented communities. She remains steadfast in her mission to break barriers and create a more just and equitable society.
